ORIGINAL RULES

Setup: Separate the different colored GAME cards. Prepare a 1 minute timer. Deal 5 black-bordered and 1 white-bordered cards face up.

Gameplay: Start the timer. Players must disperse to find an object within the time that matches as many card descriptions as possible.

Scoring: Players reveal what they brought back, tallying the points indicated by each card's corner. The highest scorer wins the round and becomes captain.

Collaborative: The group now must make a new game from only the objects collected. The captain sets a 5-10 minute timer and leads the discussion.

4.

Message: The captain randomly chooses a number between 1-6, then selects a red-bordered card to reveal the topic (category image), scale (# players), and purpose (grow, sustain, prevent) that the group must now apply to their game.

CLAIM RULES

1.

Setup: Remove the red-bordered cards, and shuffle the remaining cards together. Deal a 5x5 grid of cards, well spaced on a softer surface.

2.

Gameplay: Players must race to find one object at a time that matches as many card descriptions as possible. Upon returning to the grid, players remove the appropriate cards from play and place them in their pile. When all the cards are gone, the round ends.

Scoring: Players reveal what they brought back, tallying the points indicated by each card's corner. The highest scorer wins the round and becomes captain.

CHALLENGE RULES

1.

Setup: Prepare a 30 second timer. Remove the red-bordered cards, and shuffle the remaining cards together. Deal a 4x4 grid of cards in the center of play.

2.

Gameplay: Start the timer. The youngest player begins by thinking of a nearby object that matches as many card descriptions as possible. Within 30 seconds, this player must announce (bid) the total number of points their object would score, as indicated by each card's corner. Play continues with the next player and the timer resets. Each successive player must increase the bid or challenge the previous bid. 

3.

Scoring: Players who fail to increase the bid, lose a challenge, or run out of time are eliminated from this round. Play continues. The last player left in the game wins by retrieving their winning object.

4.

Collaborative: After 6 rounds, the group now must make a new game from only the winning objects collected. The player who won the most sets a 5-10 minute timer and leads the discussion.

5.

Message: The captain randomly chooses a number between 1-6, then selects a red-bordered card to reveal the topic (category image), scale (# players), and purpose (grow, sustain, prevent) that the group must now apply to their game.
